Seasonal events

Seasonal events are temporary events in Deadlock to celebrate holidays.

Christmas is the current seasonal event.

Halloween

The 2024 Halloween event ran from October 31 to November 7.

It added 4 Halloween masks for heroes and pumpkin models for boxes, statues and Denizens. The Halloween masks were randomized.

Christmas

The 2024 Christmas event started in December 17 and is currently ongoing.

It added a new main menu animation and music and Christmas decorations in the streets, buildings, and for the Curiosity Shop. The Shopkeeper has a Santa mask and unique lines. The Denizens have snowman models. Dynamo and the Newscaster have unique holiday voice lines.

All the mainline heroes have received unique Christmas skins. Each hero has a challenge to be completed in order to unlock their skin.

Skin challenges

List of challenges to unlock Christmas skins. These challenges can be achieved in a normal match or a labs match, but not against bots.

As the conditions are still being discovered by the community, this list is a work-in-progress and some of them still need to be tested.

Some skins may be unlocked with different challenges for the same character, but this has yet to be confirmed.

Abrams	Kill 5 enemies with melee last hits (doesn't have to be a kill streak)
Bebop	Reach 100 bomb stacks
Dynamo	Capture 3+ enemies at once in a Singularity
Grey Talon	Hit 1000+ damage on an enemy with a single Charged Shot
Haze	Kill streak of 7 enemies
Infernus	Hit 3+ enemies at once with Concussive Combustion
Ivy	Hit 5 enemies total with Air Drop bomb over the duration of a match
Kelvin	Use Frozen Shelter to heal low health allies/capture multiple enemies (?)
Lady Geist	Use Soul Exchange while at critical health (<100 HP)
Lash	Capture 5+ enemies at once with Death Slam
McGinnis	Destroy ? number of objectives in a match (Guardians/Walkers/Shrines/Patron)
Mirage	Kill an enemy by activating 12 stacks of Djinn's Mark
Mo & Krill	Kill or assist kill 10 enemies with Combo (HP bonus isn't a reliable metric since it also counts kills 3s after Combo ends)
Paradox	Kill 3 enemies while they are slowed down by any of your abilities
Pocket	Hit multiple enemies with Affliction
Seven	Kill an enemy with Storm Cloud's thunderbolt
Shiv	Kill 3 enemies with Killing Blow
Vindicta	Assassinate 2 enemies in a row without unscoping
Viscous	Hit 3 enemies with one use of Goo Ball
Warden	Kill 3 enemies with Binding Word
Wraith	Hit enemies with 6 cards in 10 seconds or less
Yamato	Kill 3 enemies with Shadow Transformation
