Status Effects

Status Effects are modifiers or effects applied to units or players after certain conditions have been met. Status Effects can be either positive or negative, and will last for a set duration unless cleared through certain items or abilities.

Positive Effects

Metal Skin

Metal Skin is a positive status effect that renders the user immune to bullets and melee attacks for a brief duration.

Shadow Form

Shadow Form is a status effect unique to   Yamato , granted through her   Shadow Transformation ability. While active, Yamato gains 60% ability speed, infinite ammo, bullet and spirit resist, immunity to status effects and cannot die.

Negative Effects

Affliction

Affliction is a unique status effect inflicted by   Pocket's   Affliction ability. It causes targets to take non-lethal damage over time and notably cannot apply item procs.

  Bleed

Bleed is a negative status effect that causes the target to take a percentage of their current health as damage over time.

  Shiv Shiv's   Serrated Knives also inflict a type of bleed, however it instead does a flat amount of damage, and can be repeatedly stacked and refreshed to increase the overall damage.

  Burn

Burn is a status effect unique to   Infernus'   Flame Dash] and   Afterburn abilities. It sets the target alight, causing them to take Spirit Damage over time. Infernus' abilities and attacks will refresh the burn duration.


  Disarmed

Disarmed is a negative status effect that prevents the target from using their weapon.

  Fixation

Fixation is a unique status effect inflicted by   Haze's   Fixation ability. It causes targets to take increased bullet damage from Haze, stacking up to 30 times.

  Healing Reduction / Healbane

Healbane is a negative status effect that reduces the amount of healing a target can receive.

  Immobilized

Immobilized is a negative status effect. It prevents the target from moving, but still allows for most other actions.

  Malice

Malice is a status effect unique to   Lady Geist's   Malice ability, which inflicts a decaying slow on the target and increases the damage they take from Lady Geist. It can be stacked up to 5 times, and refreshed by repeated usage of Malice.

  Movement Slow

Movement Slow is a negative status effect that reduces the target's movement speed.

  Pulse Grenade

Pulse Grenade is a unique status effect inflicted by   Paradox's   Pulse Grenade ] ability. It causes Paradox to deal additional damage to the target, as well as reduces movement speed.

  Silence

Silence is a negative status effect that prevents the target from using abilities.

  Sleep & Drowsy

Sleep is a status effect unique to   Haze's   Sleep Dagger. When inflicted, the target is unable to move or take actions. Taking damage while asleep will cause the target to immediately wake up.

Drowsy is a secondary effect associated with Sleep, which is inflicted directly before it. While drowsy, targets move slightly slower, and as soon as it expires the target is put to sleep.


  Stun

Stun is a status effect that prevents the target from taking any actions until it is over.


  Tether

Tether is a unique status effect inflicted by   Vindicta Vindicta's   Stake Stake ability. Afflicted targets are bound to a small radius around the stake, and cannot leave its circle until the effect expires.

Time Stop

Time Stop is a unique status effect similar to stun inflicted by   Paradox's   Kinetic Carbine ability. It prevents the target from moving or taking any actions for a brief moment.

Status Cleansers

Some abilities and items can grant the user resistances, immunity or instantly remove negative status effects.
