Escalating Exposure is a Tier 4 Spirit Item that provides Spirit Resist and Bonus Health to the purchasing hero, along with reducing the enemy Spirit Resist when the purchasing hero deals Spirit Damage. Additionally, it has a passive that applies a stacking Spirit Amp that increases your Spirit Damage to the target.

It can be purchased from the Shop for Souls7,450 (its Component Mystic Vulnerability makes up Souls1,250 of the cost).

Notes

  • The damage amp, and the spirit damage it is amplifying, are applied to the target as separate instances of damage. The damage from the damage amp is dealt after the original spell damage. This has implications for abilities or effects that rely on single instances of damage, for example:
    • Vindicta has 5 stacks of Escalating Exposure on an enemy Warden, and she uses Assassinate on him. The baseline Assassinate on its own is not enough damage to kill the Warden, but the increased damage (due to the 5 stacks) is enough to secure the kill. Since the damage amp from Escalating Exposure is applied after the Assassinate, it is technically the damage amp which secures the kill, not the Assassinate. Thus, Vindicta will not receive bonus souls from Assassinate's passive.
