Ability Points are used to level up a hero's abilities. Levelling an ability requires varying amount of ability points for each subsequent level, requiring 1, 2, and 5 ability points respectively. An ability can be unlocked without expending an ability point.
Ability points are unlocked by levelling up the hero via souls, or by completing defense objectives such as guardians, walkers, and shrines.
