An Ability Point is used to level up a hero's abilities. This generally makes the abilities stronger and more versatile.
Leveling an ability requires varying amount of Ability Points for each subsequent level, requiring 1, 2, and 5 Ability Points respectively.
Ability points are gained by leveling up the hero via souls, or by completing the following objectives: Soul Urn, Walkers, and Shrines.
Delivering the Soul Urn will grant the courier 1 Ability Point in addition to souls.
A Walker or a Shrine being destroyed will grant each person on the team who destroyed it an Ability Point in addition to souls.
