The Curiosity Shop
Overview
The Curiosity Shop is the main form of progression in matches of Deadlock, giving players access to dozens of powerful items available for the player to purchase using souls, which are acquired by killing enemy troopers and players, along with neutral monsters around the map. These items provide a variety of different stat increases and bonuses for the player, modifying things like ammo, fire rate, damage of abilities and weapons, ability range and cooldowns, movement speed, etc, along with passive buffs and additional active abilities. Items are split into the two damage types, weapon and spirit, and vitality for primarily defense.
Item Types
Weapon
Weapon items focus on improving the player's base weapons, giving additional ammo, weapon damage, fire rate, giving players buffs like more damage, defense, or life steal when they land their shots and the enemies they hit debuffs, like reducing their armor or movement speed. These items are great for powering up your heroes basic attacks.
Vitality
Vitality items focus on improving the player's survivability, defense, and movement
