The Patron is a massive, magical golem and the primary objective in Deadlock matches. Each team’s base houses a Patron, and victory is secured by defeating the opposing team's Patron. Patrons are formidable, dealing significant damage to nearby enemies. They are spherical, with a golden, mask-like face, and they can magically levitate above the ground. Patrons can also offer "boons" to empower their team during battle.
The Patron has two shrines located next to it. Once these shrines are destroyed, there are two phases: the regular Patron and a Weakened Patron.
Weakened Patron
After a team diminishes the health of phase one, the Patron takes a moment to transform into a Weakened Patron and moves into the pit of its teams base. In this weakened state, the Patron has an effect similar to Torment Pulse and damages Troopers and Heroes around it.
Lore
According to the lore, Patrons are magical entities who petition players to participate in battles, called Rituals.
