The two teams in the game are The Sapphire Flame and The Amber Hand, they serve opposing [[Patron|patrons]] that seek to be brought into the world.
There are two opposing teams in the game, each consisting of 6 players. Each team serves a different [[patron]], either The Sapphire Flame or The Amber Hand, which seek to use the players to complete a ritual and fully realize their existence in the physical world.  
 
Players cannot choose the team they fight for, as this is decided at the start of every match by the matchmaking engine.
 
 
 


Both groups are considered to be [[wikipedia:Fraternal_order|orders]]<nowiki/> and were originally meant to safeguard the world from the [[Patron|Patrons]] and keep them on their home plain however it is thought that there are coups going on that have lead to both groups now trying to bring the [[Patron|Patrons]] into existence.
